The Abstract Collection: Marcia had been painting classic Maine scenes for over 15 years. When Covid closed Couleur Collection for three months in 2020, Marcia went into her gallery and began experimenting with a more abstract approach. Two unexpected things happened. First she had fun in what was essentially a stressful time for a business woman. And, then she was curious how this new work might look as a scarf. Within six months, Marcia’s Studio (as seen on this website) was created and introduced to the market.
